These boots are made for walking…

5/4/22

Did A LOT of walking today. More then I have since treatment ended with all the days combined. It’s surprising that something as simple as walking takes so much out of me. But I’m determined to overcome this weakness the treatments left me with.

I walked to CVS and purchased an apple juice. I didn’t want to be one of those people that walks into a store and browses around already knowing everything the store sells . Instead I made the purchase and it helped quite a bit as my journey continued.

Any ideas where I went next?

If you said the alphabet store you smart. You a genius baby! #DJFatNeckKhaled.

Walked up into some crown peach. Tonight’s night cap will be awesome. I’ve been working on getting away from the narcotics they’ve been prescribing me. I don’t like having them in my system. Of course they’re great for pain management but I think with my skin finally starting to clear up and the scales falling away with the other burned skin the radiation caused I think I’m ready to forgo the morphine and oxy. Wish me luck!

And that’s been my day so far. Walking as much as I can. The hill was going to be too much for me while carrying my purchase so I settled for a Lyft (Cheaper then Uber EVERY time.) I'm home now and have an appointment with Doctor Chowe tomorrow. Since the car is in the shop with a $1750 bill it looks like I’ll be in a Lyft again for that.

And now you’re all caught up .
