Week 3 Conclusion.

This week has definitely been better then the previous ones. First and foremost the doctors finally got the right combination of medication for me. Well almost. I had to add one thing to make it perfect. But when I told Dr Lee what I did to cover the time which didn’t lapse with the prescription schedule I got her rating of approval. I may have some of you to thank for that. #PrayerWarriors

I can move around! I can walk almost perfectly normal. I can even sit in a normal chair again. I’m eating more. A lot more and even gained a few pounds back. I’m getting more sleep. Basically everything that was tearing me down is being neutralized and I’m feeling great. I may have some of you to thank for that. #PrayerWarriors

I’m speaking to a lawyer about getting off of probation early from the DUI due to my medical conditions. That in itself is great news because I can pursues a job offer I’m really interested in once I’ve completed treatment and beat this disease. All my fines and responsibilities to the courts have already been taken care of so I’d be a free man. I may have some of you to thank for that. #PrayerWarriors

A lot of my posts have been heart wrenching. The things I’ve been experiencing have brought many of you with words of comfort and incredibly charitable acts of kindness. It gives me great pleasure to finally have a positive update for you all. And although I’m only half way through my treatments with more chemotherapy and radiation to go I don’t feel intimidated like I did before. And as I’ve said previously, I may have some of you to thank for that. #PrayerWarriors

Thank you to each and every one of you who has taken the time out of their busy days to leave me a comment, message in my inbox, and reached out to me directly via phone and text. A very heartfelt thank you to those who have gone above and beyond the normal call of duty to offer me even greater assistance. Your kindness and support has made this difficult time easier to bear.

PS

Almost forgot to put a joke in here! My neighbor, who was kind enough to build my deck while I could barely move, passed his citizenship exam today! He’s officially a US citizen! I told him whenever he wants to stop by that he can just walk in but if he has any of his friends with him I’ll need to see their passports before gaining entry. I also took all the green cards out of a deck of Uno cards and wrapped them up as a gift so when he stops by tonight for his victory shots of Casamigos I’ll hand him his present and when he opens it tell him he’ll never need those again!
